FESTIVALWhy A Festival?
Chances are, the city you live in has an entire day-long festival dedicated to a certain community celebrating their god. Why shouldn’t we have ours?
We serve the King of kings. All of creation bows to Him. Certainly, this is worthy of celebrating. Certainly, this is worthy of a city’s representation for this community.
Why not a Christ Is King festival?
Our first event is being planned for Grand Haven in 2025.
PARADEWhy A Parade?
If you’re lucky enough to live in a city that doesn’t have an all-day festival, there is a good chance that they have a parade that marches through your city streets, waving their flags and celebrating their god.
So, again, we ask the question, why not a Christ Is King parade? All creation belongs to Him, certainly, we should be marching the streets of our city, flying the flag of the Lord of lords, proclaiming the good news of our Risen King and celebrating our community.

At this point, you should see where we’re going with this. But if not, let’s really drive it home.
If you have either one of the above in your city, then most likely, your city also dedicates an entire month to these communities. Decorates the city, street signs, and storefronts.
Jesus Christ is Lord. He deserves all twelve months. But at the very least, we can all agree on one. Every city across the globe should have an entire month dedicated to the representation of the Risen King.
Let’s fill our cities with billboards, our street poles with signs, and storefronts, celebrate our community, recognizing the King of kings and declare, CHRIST IS KING.
